Savor the Taste of Real Food… Just Frozen!

March is National Frozen Foods Month, an annual retail event promoting the great options available in frozen foods. These aren’t your parents’ (or grandparents’) frozen TV dinners. Today’s frozen foods offer just as much variety, flavor and nutrition as fresh options. For private brands, they also offer significant sales opportunities, with private brand frozen foods accounting for nearly $50 billion in sales in 2017—and making up four of the top 20 private brand categories, according to the Private Label Manufacturers’ Association.

Retailers can use National Frozen Foods Month to help promote the appeal of frozen and highlight options for healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.
