Store Brands | May 2017 – A recent baby boom is bringing good news to the U.S. baby care product category. Sales of disposable baby products (diapers/training pants, wipes and toiletries) reached a five-year high in 2016, increasing almost 5 percent to surpass $8 billion, according to “Disposable Baby Products — US,” a March 2017 report from global market research firm Mintel. Growth was led by disposable training pants, thanks to a 2014 rise in birthrates.
