Bronze Mark of Excellence in newsletters for Retail News Insider
The annual Edward L. Bernays Mark of Excellence Awards is the signature awards recognition program and event sponsored by PRSA SD/IC. The event brings together more than 300 community members and PR professionals to celebrate the best public relations campaigns and individuals in the region. Retail News Insider received the highest award in the newsletter category, the Bronze Bernays, which recognizes outstanding public relations tactics, consisting of individual items or components of programs or campaigns. The January, February and March newsletters were judged for this award.
Marcom Awards Gold Winner for Retail Perceptions, Retail News Insider and Daymon.com
MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. About 6,000 entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. In the past, about 15 percent of entries won Platinum, the top award, and around 20 percent the Gold Award. Retail Perceptions won for The Impact of Augmented Reality on Retail, RNI won for The Battle for America’s Dinner Plate, and Daymon.com won for the content and design of the website.
