Food/Body Fears: Consumer Concerns With What Ingredients Go In and On Their Bodies

The media is rife with articles chronicling the ups and downs of the latest data and supposed experts, telling consumers what they should and shouldn’t eat and drink or personal care products they shouldn’t use. In June 2015, Daymon Worldwide conducted a nationally representative study of 1000 US consumers about what they fear most. The study seeks to understand similarities and differences between adults and their concern for their children’s well being, how they connect specific ingredients to their harmful effects, how their attitudes and behavior towards these ingredients have changed over time, their tolerance of these ingredients in store brands and what is just starting to appear on their radar.
