George Cawman

George Cawman is one of the original members of the Daymon Worldwide Board of Directors. He is the former President and CEO of Schreiber Foods. 

From 1968 until 1982, George Cawman held various positions with divisions of the Greyhound Corporation, including Armour-Dial and Armour & Company, ultimately moving to the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing for Greyhound Lines.  In 1982, George joined Schreiber Foods,  where he utilized his expertise, experience, and unique marketing style to transform a family business into the largest owner-operated dairy company in the world—providing cheese and other dairy products to McDonald’s, Burger King, Costco, and Wal*Mart, among others.  Since George joined Schreiber Foods, sales have increased from $400 million to $2.3 billion. 

Today, Schreiber Foods has more than 4,200 employees with 19 plants in the United States, Mexico, Europe, and India and is consistently ranked as one of the top suppliers to America’s grocery and foodservice operators.

George’s innovative management style was recognized by Sales & Marketing Magazine, who in 1995 named him one of “America’s Top Ten Sales & Marketing Executives.”  George has been equally active locally, in his hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin.  He has served on several charitable boards and has been recognized for his contributions to the community.  For the past two years, he has been Chairman of Green Bay’s Golden Apple program – a program that recognizes excellence in education.  George is an avid gardener, and his residential garden has been recognized as the “best” in Green Bay.
