A Match Made in Heaven

 event marketing arm at
 Pittsburgh-based Giant
 Eagle, a forward-thinking
 supermarket, helped sell
 the sizzle of the retailer’s special “Steak & Wild Gulf Shrimp” Valentine’s Day promotion – a more economical version of “Surf & Turf.”

Each event store built a Valentine’s Day order station to resemble a romantic table setting comprised of a red tablecloth, roses, wine, heart shaped balloons and of course the most romantic accoutrement of all for any sales organization – the order form.

During the event OTO Sales Advisors invited shoppers to visit the meat and seafood departments where “we have prepared a delicious dinner for two.” Indeed it was a sweetheart of a deal - two thick cut Certified Angus Boneless Strip Steaks and Wild Gulf Shrimp packaged together in a heart shaped container.”

The collaboration between the Giant Eagle seafood team and One to One Interactions  ensured the success of this Valentine’s Day in-store consumer event.
