Wegmans Sorbets
Fat-free never tasted this good! The Daymon team at Wegmans in Rochester, NY developed a line of supplied by Akron, NY-based Perry’s Ice Cream.
A serving of sorbet can cleanse your palate between courses or be the finishing touch to any meal. It makes a great summer complement to any dessert, or on its own as light snack. Sorbet mixed with soda also makes for a refreshing summer drink.
The Wegmans brand sorbets have been featured in the retailer’s Menu Magazine, and were also promoted via e-mail, on Wegmans.com as a new product listing, and with special signage in the stores. They come in one-pint cardboard “rounds” – you know, that’s the shape of the container!
Wegmans brand sorbets are available in green apple, pink grapefruit, lemon and raspberry flavors.
