Overhill Farms and Daymon
Overhill Farms is a Daymon supplier partner of high quality frozen entrées – a category of significant growth given the demands of today’s time-starved consumer.
A relatively new entrant into the Private Brand business, Overhill Farms goal is to build Private Brand into a larger percentage of their overall customer mix and thus round out their business so as to not be too dependent on any one channel.
The Daymon team at Safeway has worked closely with Overhill Farms to build the highly successful Safeway Eating Right program. The team has helped Overhill Farms nurture a strong relationship with Safeway that encourages a continuous sharing of ideas on innovative formulations, etc.
By interacting with the Daymon team at the Daymon Resource Center in Stamford, CT and the Daymon Safeway team Overhill Farms is discovering how to compete in the Private Brand arena. Daymon is working with Overhill Farms to build on their success at Safeway and develop programs at certain targeted accounts within the Daymon network.
