South African hypermarket retailer Pick ‘n Pay has thought outside of the box (and bag) to launch an innovative pet food storage container through Daymon Worldwide.
The 30-liter, stainless steel container is a luxury alternative to plastic containers and pet food bags, featuring a vacuum sealed closure, a see-through lid, locking latch and hard plastic liner that removes for easy cleaning. The new product lets consumers bring pet food out of the panty, with a container that complements the kitchen décor.
Pick ‘n Pay will test the new item in its hypermarkets, and then look at an in/out program for supermarkets. The container will be cross-merchandised in the pet food aisle with Nutriphase Dog Food - also Pick ‘n Pay private brand.
